The ownership transfer procedure will be explained elsewhere. The ownership transfer must be done through the seller's service provider and buyer's service provider, also the buyer and seller can use same service provider (seller's) if the buyer has none during the purchase, except both parties live in different countries, in this case it is ok but not wise.

b) If the e-mail addresses associated to the administrative, technical or billing contact are no longer valid, registrant (domain owner) authorization is required to change the information. The owner must login to his/her account and update the e-mail addresses. With some registrars the contact info changes must be done through the registrar.
c) As a domain owner (registrant) always keep your contact information up to date, the cause of most disputes and troubles are because of lack of access to registrant.
d) Everyone can view the WHOIS information through WHOIS search. The registrant (domain owner) can hide the above information by asking his/her Service Provider (Registrar) to do that, in this case people can only see the service provider's (Registrar's) contact information and can only contact you (registrant) through them. For .CA domain names you can login to your CIRA account and turn ON or OFF the privacy option, if you you turn it on only your registrar info is visible and people can contact you through them.
